Let us now break down Zimyo's pricing plans to analyse whether they match startups’ budgets. 

Zimyo offers three pricing plans: Basic, Standard, and Enterprise. All plans are applicable for businesses with a minimum of 40 employees.

Basic plan: Zimyo Basic plan will cost you ₹80/user/month. It provides access to features like employee management, time & attendance, leave management, document management roles and permission, etc. This plan also provides access to payroll features such as automated payouts, statutory compliance, and payroll for multiple entities. 

However, this plan does not include access to essential features like automated employee onboarding and offboarding, a helpdesk, or custom reports. 

Standard plan: Zimyo’s Standard plan costs ₹120/user/month and provides access to automated approval workflows like onboarding and offboarding, analytics and custom reports, employee recognition activities, two-factor authentication, timezone management, geo-fenced attendance, and more. 

However, the Standard plan doesn’t provide access to expenses and benefits management, performance reviews, global payroll, etc. 

Enterprise plan: Zimyo’s Enterprise plan costs ₹200/user/month. In addition to all the features available in the Basic and Standard plans, it provides access to expense management, vendor management, petty cash management, single sign-on integration, performance reviews and OKR, global payroll compliance, and set-up. 

Note that features like Recruitment and Timesheets are not accessible even in the Enterprise plan. These add-on features will cost you ₹2,500/user/month and ₹50/user/month respectively. 

Is Zimyo pricing apt for startups and growing businesses?

Zimyo’s pricing plans are not appropriate for startups and SMEs. Here is why: 

• Zimyo is suitable for businesses with a minimum of 40 employees. For startups and SMEs starting their journeys, teams can be as small as only five members. Therefore, for startups with small teams, Zimyo will not be an option 

• Startups usually have restricted budgets, so they look for HRMS platforms offering optimum investment returns. However, by investing in Zimyo’s Basic plan, startups won’t get access to critical features like onboarding and offboarding workflows, helpdesk, custom reports, etc. 

• Even though a startup opts for the Standard plan, access to some features will remain restricted. This includes expense and benefit management, performance review, etc. On the other hand, the Enterprise plan is costly and unnecessary as, in the beginning days, startups hardly required a global payroll setup. In fact, for a critical feature like Timesheets, they will need to spend an additional amount of ₹50/user/month
